My stay at The Chelsea was enjoyable, but not without its quirks. While the hotel features unique decor and super friendly staff, some aspects of the rooms, such as outdated features and occasional cleanliness issues, could use some attention. However, the location is perfect for easy access to the beach and nearby entertainment, making it a great choice overall. 🌊✨
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had an eclectic charm, but could have benefitted from a more thorough cleaning. The lack of microwaves and coffee makers was also a downside. However, the space was decent and the view nice.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. The concierge, Michael, went above and beyond to assist, especially when there were issues with my room keys.

The hotel's proximity to Tropicana and the boardwalk was fantastic. I felt safe walking back late at night, and it was just a short stroll to the beach.
Dining

I really enjoyed the food at Teplitzky's, especially their generous portions. However, it was a bit frustrating that the voucher did not cover the full costs of my meals.
Facilities

The hotel boasts some inviting facilities, like a heated pool and a relaxing atmosphere. However, maintenance issues, like the hot water varying in each room, were a bit of a hassle.

5.4/10
I recently stayed at The Chelsea Hotel and found some aspects good but others quite disappointing. My room was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a beautiful bathroom. However, I faced issues with service that really took away from the experience, particularly concerning valet parking. Overall, I appreciated the hotel's character and cleanliness but left feeling that the service could use significant improvement.
Rooms
8.0
I really enjoyed my room, which was tastefully decorated in a retro style and had a gorgeous bathroom. The king-sized bed was super comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. However, I did notice some aspects like the cleanliness were a significant positive feature for the room.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to my expectations. The front desk staff seemed rude, and the valet service was quite the nuisance—waiting too long for my car was frustrating, especially when they seemed disorganized. This really affected my overall impression of the hotel.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach and boardwalk, making it easy to enjoy the sun and fun. While the area might appear a bit gritty at first glance, being so close to entertainment options was a significant advantage during my stay.
Dining
7.0
I was able to enjoy breakfast at Teplitzky's, which was decent and reasonably priced. However, my voucher didn't fully cover the meal, which was a letdown. Still, the food tasted good, and the dining atmosphere was pleasant.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel did have nice amenities, including pools and a charm that added to the overall experience. However, I wasn’t able to use the hot tub as it required a paid pass, which seemed unnecessary. The main areas were clean and inviting, though.

I stayed at The Chelsea Hotel recently and found some aspects enjoyable, while others left room for improvement. The oceanfront room in the Luxe Tower was lovely, boasting great lighting and a clean atmosphere. yet I noticed some wear and tear on the furnishings. The staff was attentive and friendly, which enhanced my experience, but I did encounter some inconsistencies with missing amenities. Overall, it was a nice stay with notable highlights and a few drawbacks.

I had some ups and downs during my stay at The Chelsea Hotel. On the plus side, the free Wi-Fi and comfy beds really elevated my experience, and the funky decor was kinda charming. However, the slow elevators and chaotic valet service really took away from the overall vibe. I felt like I was caught in a whirlwind at times, and that definitely put a damper on things.
Rooms
6.0
The room was cute at first glance, with an interesting retro style, but I noticed some peeling wallpaper and chipped furniture. The bathroom, though spacious and clean, didn't quite make up for the other issues.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and tried to be accommodating, but I had a pretty frustrating experience with the slow valet service and long waits at the front desk.
Location

The hotel is ideally located right off the boardwalk near the Tropicana, making it really easy to explore the area and hit up nearby attractions.

While I didn't get to check out the spa amenities, I did love the pool area up on the 5th floor, which was really clean and welcoming for some relaxation time.

I enjoyed my stay at The Chelsea Hotel, with its charming decor and comfy bed, making it a cozy getaway. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which really added to the experience. I do wish the walls were better soundproofed because I got woken up by loud neighbors a couple of times. Overall, this place has great potential, and I'm looking forward to returning to try out the 5th Floor and the Sea Spa.
Rooms

The room was attractive and clean, with amazing ocean views. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, thanks to the plush comforter and soft sheets. However, the shower's water pressure left a lot to be desired.

The hotel is ideally located near the boardwalk, which made it easy to access nearby attractions without being in the noisy casino area. I loved the convenience of the free rolling chair transportation on the boardwalk, especially with Mike as my chauffeur.

I had breakfast in bed, which was delicious though a bit pricey. There were some great dining options nearby, and I can't wait to try more of the menu next time.

The 5th Floor looked like a cool hangout spot with a fun retro vibe, and the pool area was clean and welcoming. I'm excited to check out the Sea Spa on my next visit.
